J. Michael Homan received the 2009 Janet Doe Lectureship. The Janet Doe Lectureship is awarded annually to a Medical Library Association member chosen for his or her unique perspective on the history or philosophy of medical librarianship.
His speech was entitled, “Eyes on the Prize: Reflections on the Impact of the Evolving Digital Ecology on the Librarian as Expert Intermediary and Knowledge Coach, 1969–2009.” In the clip below, watch a very few snippets from Michael’s talk at the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Medical Library Association.
