All of the latest journal metrics are now available to you in the 2009 Journal Citation Reports (JCR) ®. Thomson Reuters has announced the release of the 2009 JCR ®, the most widely used tool for assessing the world’s leading journals, and the metrics it offers — including Journal Impact Factor.
Go to http://library.mayo.edu/e-resources/edatabases.cfm and click on Journal Citation Reports. Included in 2009′s release are features that help users visualize and evaluate the journal data in context, including:
- Five-year Impact Factor
- Eigenfactor ™ Metrics
- Rank-in-Category Tables
- Journal “Self-Citations”
With a dataset maintained over several decades, JCR provides the perfect starting point for building on the concept of journal “influence”. http://admin-apps.isiknowledge.com/JCR/JCR
