April 26, 2012 at 8:37 am barbtarpenning
Librarians Dana Gerberi, Dottie Hawthorne, and Karen Larsen continue to add content to the Mayo Clinic Libraries’ Effective Database Searching [Mayo Clinic only] guide. This special guide, created with the LibGuides software, is a collection of tips, tutorials, and other resources providing opportunities for our users to learn how to select library databases and other information sources to support their clinical, education, and research efforts. New content on the guide’s home page includes a list of Ten Guidelines for Responsible Literature Searching and some recommendations for when to contact a Librarian for assistance with searching. Find the Effective Database Searching Guide on the Library’s home page [Mayo Clinic only] under “Research Support” in the middle column.
