Mayo Clinic Library Expands Web of Science Content

The Mayo Clinic Library has recently expanded its access to Web of Science with content going back to 1975.
Web of Science is a multidisciplinary scientific database which offers traditional author and subject searching, but also the ability to search cited references for a given article.
Expanded access to Web of Science content also enhances the ability to track career h-index by expanding the range of available data.
The h-index attempts to measure the impact and productivity of a scientist’s published work. It is a calculation that examines both the number of publications and number of citations per publication.
For further information about calculating h-index using Web of Science view this tutorial.
