Three meeting attendees were contacted in advance to photograph the inside of their refrigerators for the “What’s in your refrigerator” segment which included a contest to determine the most inventive and creative recipes for healthy eating using ingredients identified from the refrigerators.
Attendees came from the 9 states that make up the Midwest Chapter of MLA. They could select from 5 continuing education courses, a technology forum, and tours of Mayo Clinic libraries in addition to the keynote presentations, papers, posters, and updates from the National Library of Medicine, Greater Midwest Region of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, and Medical Library Association. Mayo Clinic participation included 25 total attendees who contributed 8 posters, 1 paper, and 6 conference organizing committee members.
