October is National Medical Librarians Month. It is celebrated every year with a specially designed poster to highlight the professional contributions of medical librarians to the success of the institutions they serve.
Librarians at Mayo Clinic are involved in support of many aspects of employee, student, and patient activities including: comfortable facilities for study and technology access; assistance with finding the best evidence for decisions in practice, research, administration, education; licensing the best e-resources; acquiring the best traditional resources; online assistance (all links Mayo only) and in-person library instruction and outreach; building user friendly systems for current awareness, e-document delivery (Celsus); tracking Mayo authored publications (Mayo Authors Database); constructing online subject guides to quality resources, and much more.
If you have a question or concern, don’t hesitate to let us know through the “talk to the library” option on the Library’s website or by contacting any of the locations under the “Find a Library” tab on the website.
