NNLMThe Medical Library Association has designated October as the month each year to celebrate the contributions of medical librarians and the medical library team to quality and excellence in patient care, scientific discovery, and education. This year the Saint Marys Hospital Staff Library on the Rochester campus is celebrating National Medical Librarians Month by designating the donations received by employees for its withdrawn books to the Poverello Foundation at Mayo Clinic. The Poverello Foundation was established to ease the burden for patients who need financial support for the care they receive.
