Retrieving History of Medicine Citations in MEDLINE/PubMed

Searching PubMed for articles relating to the history of medicine has become easier with the introduction of the new PubMed left hand filter sidebar. The filter sidebar allows users to easily select different filters to apply to a PubMed search.

This updated list, along with the NLM-assigned broader category mappings, can be downloaded for free from the Structured Abstracts resource page which also provides NLM guidelines and other background information to assist licensees or researchers.

NIH launches free database of drugs associated with liver injury

Researchers and health care professionals can use the LiverTox database to identify basic and clinical research questions to be answered and to chart optimal ways to diagnose and control drug-induced liver injury.

New Style and New Content for ClinicalTrials.gov

The new ClinicalTrials.gov user interface was launched on September 19, 2012 at  http://ClinicalTrials.gov/.
