One Health: Mayo Clinic at the 2013 Annual Meeting of the Medical Library Association

Mayo Clinic’s librarians participated in many aspects of “One Health: Information in an Interdependent World,” the federated meeting that combined the 2013 Annual Meeting and Exhibition of the Medical Library Association (MLA ’13), the 11th International Congress on Medical Librarianship (ICML), the 7th International Conference of Animal Health Information Specialists (ICAHIS), and the 6th International Clinical Librarian Conference (ICLC).

The meeting was chaired by Mayo Clinic Libraries director J. Michael Homan, who welcomed attendees to the meeting.

Leah Osterhaus Trzasko, librarian at the Health Science Library at the Mayo Clinic Health System in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, received two grants at the meeting:

The Mayo Clinic librarians also presented seven posters and three papers, as well as moderated paper sessions. Carol Ann Attwood moderated the Section progam, “The Provision of Health Information and Health Care Services to an Aging Population with Chronic Health Conditions.” The titles for the papers and posters are below, and the abstracts for all papers and posters are available.
