Retrieving e-Documents in Celsus; Modification to Allow Multiple File Downloads

October 29, 2013 at 2:29 pm

Celsus is the Library’s electronic document delivery system which allows efficient delivery of requested resources — journal articles, book chapters and other library materials to your desktop. It’s an extremely efficient way to request and receive fulltext. The system has been modified to allow multiple PDF file downloads to a library user’s H:drive when many documents have been ordered through the system rather than downloading single PDF files one-by-one.  Library Systems Analyst,  Scott Vermeersch, recently added this feature to Celsus. You can read the step-by-step instructions on how to download multiple files in our LibGuide. Please send any feedback on this feature to Ann Farrell (farrell@mayo.edu). (Celsus is only available on the Mayo Clinic intranet.)
